Ethique Plastic Surgery works with a few select anaesthetists all of which are highly trained, fully qualified and accredited, Fellows of The Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), ensuring the highest possible care and safety for our patients.
Dr Andrew Hill
Dr Hill is a Specialist Anaesthetist with over 15 years’ experience in anaesthetics and critical care medicine in both the pre-hospital and hospital setting. He has a particular interest in emergency surgery, trauma, neurosurgery and obstetric anaesthesia. He has also worked as a Retrieval Specialist for CareFlight on the NSW rescue helicopter services for 13 years.
Dr Hill is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, and a College Supervisor of Training for junior anaesthetists, and is a dedicated teacher and facilitator of junior medical officers, students and paramedics. He is currently a member of the Anaesthetic Executive Board at Liverpool Hospital, and has visiting rights at Bankstown Hospital, Sydney Southwest Private Hospital, Kareena Private Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital and St George Private Hospital.

Dr Matthew Chiew
Dr Chiew graduated from his undergraduate medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2003 with Honours Class 1. He underwent internship and residency at St George Hospital. He then entered specialist anaesthesia training at various hospitals in Sydney, including Concord Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital.
He completed his specialist anaesthesia examination in May 2010, being awarded the “Certificate of Merit” for “excellence achieved” in the exam.
In 2011 he underwent subspecialty fellowship training in Regional Anaesthesia (Clinical and Research) at London Health Sciences Centre, University of Western Ontario, Ontario Canada.
Since 2012 he has been working as a specialist anaesthetist in Sydney at St George, Liverpool and Campbelltown Public Hospitals and is also accredited at several private hospitals within Sydney.

Dr Kim Weng
Dr Kim Weng graduated from University of Otago, New Zealand in 2001, and started anaesthetic training in St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. He has been a qualified specialist Anaesthetist since 2010.
Dr Weng has special interests in regional anaesthesia and perioperative medicine and works mainly in Vascular surgery, Orthopaedic, and Plastic surgery. In these particular specialties, he is able to apply his skills to improve patient outcomes and post-operative pain management.
Dr Weng is currently a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and an active member in Australian Society of Anaesthetists. He has teaching commitments and is appointed in various public and private hospitals as a senior specialist anaesthetist.

Dr Melissa Yee
Dr. Yee was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and had an early interest in science and zoology. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology (animal studies) in Calgary, before moving to Australia to complete her medical degree at the University of Sydney.
Her initial hospital training was undertaken in Sydney, starting at RPA hospital and finishing 9 years later at Nepean Hospital, with many hospitals and placements in between.
She started working in the Southern Highlands in 2014, and moved into the area in 2015 after experiencing her version of “Grand Designs” trying to build from scratch on a small acreage. Her current practice includes public work at Bowral and Nepean hospitals, and private practice at Southern Highlands Private Hospital. Her scope of practice is fairly broad, encompassing anaesthesia for plastic surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, orthopaedics, urology, and general surgery.
